I’m disabled, and Bixby Routines helps me be more independent. I created a routine to create a portable light switch on my phone. To set that up: If “Button Press” = “Volume Up Long Press”, Then: Control SmartThings: Light On. Then to turn the light off, I did the same steps as mentioned earlier, but this time I used the “volume down” button, then it turns my light off. The great thing about this routine is that you can activate it without turning on your phones screen. I do have more routine ideas, which I need to test out first, then I’ll share them at a later time.

I saw an Assistant comparison video a while back on LTT's channel, and the Bixby Assistant held up very well against the competition. Great video. Please help with this. IF Camera app is open and IF Hiking is being recorded (Samsung Health) THEN Audio Guide (Samsung Health) is muted. When we're recording a video while hiking the audio guide will announce "1.5 miles complete" or "Workout Paused" or "Workout Resumed". Very annoying when recording a video. Can you help?

Hi regarding the auto wifi off shown at 0750. In the reverse action shoulnt it be wifi off? Also can u post a routine for bluetooth automatically off
@RADERTECH2 жыл бұрын
Hi, thanks for watching! Yes, you are correct. I should have had the toggle set to the off position in the second part of the routine - great catch, thank you! For turning off bluetooth, there's 2 quick routines that come to mind. One would be IF Bluetooth Device (disconnected from device ABC) THEN turn Bluetooth Off. The second would be to use a location based routine, like the wifi one in this video. IF leaving location THEN Bluetooth off, then reverse these actions when routine ends. I'll probably do a more comprehensive guide in the near future.

@@RADERTECH Hi thank a tonn for the reply. Although as I found if in the reverse option we turnoff wifi "the automatically turn off option " doesnt work (wonder why?) . I also have a few clarifications regarding the bluetooth routine with the connect to ABC device(bluetooth earbuds). I've already done initial part as under (thank to the wonderful tutorial u had done it was easy) - if - connected device turns on ( prior to this I manually. switch on my phone bluetooth) - Then - spotify open - Reverse bluetooth on (similar to what u did on the wifi thing But my doubt is regarding 2 issues - - What should be the reverse order - both on ( i.e. the on. button on and the bluetooth also on?) - Also for this routine to work I have to physically switch on the bluetooth on my phone. Is there a way that the phone automatically switches on the bluetooth moment my device ( my bluetooth buds) turn on?

Can Bixby routines be installed on low budget phones like Samsung A03?
@RADERTECH2 жыл бұрын
Hi, thanks for watching!! Unfortunately, Bixby Routines can't be installed, they're 'baked' into your device. Only the Good Lock Routines+ helper app can be installed separately. If you're not seeing Bixby Routines when searching Settings for Bixby, it's likely a case of your phone not supporting them.
@Gonenivitty2 жыл бұрын
Does Lock Routines + have the same functionality as Bixby Routines?
@RADERTECH2 жыл бұрын
@@Gonenivitty No, it doesn't. I just adds some a few additional features that regular Bixby Routines doesn't have. Such as speaking out alerts and creating routine macros.

I used to be able to have a routine that every night at 11:30pm bixby would close all recent apps, and clear the memory. The new routines doesn't allow that. No matter where I look, there's no command to close recent apps or clear memory. If I speak those commands it works, so bixby can do it but I can no longer create a routine to do so automatically. 😢
