Damp and mice can do that too. I know that some lubricants and oils are also very good at 'eating' fabric and foam. They could easily be spilt on a store room floor.

If I recall correctly, yes he was meant to be blue, but Scott messed up his saturation when creating Bonnie's model for the first game, and he ended up looking purple. So he just accepted that for the first game, and really made sure Toy Bonnie was blue to drive it home how that was his original intention

Just like how Foxy -> Mangle changed a lot, a more minor difference like that kinda makes the drastic one feel less out of left field. Youll see that if you turn up bonnie's saturation hes actually bright blue what i mean is that bonnie likely WAS always intended to be blue (which is why he IS blue in nearly every single other interpretation of him) but scott didnt realize how much more purple making his color more pale would make him look, at least thats what i think
