I like that 3D effect in Hard Drivin'. It's quite effective. And that Moonracer has some really nice graphics and music. There are so many racing games, you could easily make 2 or 3 more of these videos.

Hard Drivin' is so odd. It looks like Neapolitan ice-cream and plays like a drunken turtle, though the effect is OK I suppose. I could make more but I think I've exhausted the C64 ones. Always other platforms.

Haha, geile Fundstücke. Aus dem Knight Rider Intro entnehme ich mal, dass der Finder aus Deutschland kommt? Es gab auch passable Rennspiele, wie z.B. Stunt Car Racer... zumindest damals war es erträglich, heute husten die Augen.

I thought I had seen everything with Hard Drivin', but Cisco Heat is even worse. I can't believe they actually released that on full-price.

Hard Drivin is slow because it's properly drawn vector graphics - not quite an option for C64 capabilities (however, at times it's faster than Test Drive tbh). For Cisco Heat I have totally no excuse why it runs and looks so lame.

Er... what's with the anagrams? Don't get me wrong, I thoroughly enjoyed them, but WTF? Did you make them? Or did I miss something... great game selections though. Love how the scenery in Chase HQ was done in hi-res. Nice.

Turbo Esprit is absolutely horrible on C64 but the ZX Spectrum version is fantastic. Quick framerate and hires graphics.

Same for Chase H.Q.. Although the SuperCPU version of Chase HQ was pretty decent. The normal C64 version was rubbish

BGM of "007...etc..." sounds as if it was played by a kindergarten child, who plays a toy keyboard with one finger!!! The second has the "good old" Chopin's Funeral March a bit accelerated in the tempo, like in "Circus" (and C64 clone "Clowns"). 100 Mile Race has Screeches in "Crazy Car 2" are pathetic. Mille Miglia looks too..."Speccy".

4x4 Offroad Racing is funny ! Buggys is cool but the player was a lamer . Chase H.Q has smooth graphics and nice audio . Distance Demon is a cute game if you drive cautious . Hard Drivin' uses a nice vectored 3D with acceptable speed according to a 1 MHz machine . The others are indeed very bizarre and crap .
