Here's a random but interesting subject that I wouldn't mind seeing on this channel: The many wild animals that have been introduced to North, Latin, and South America. From the invasive to the neutral to the beneficial. From animals as big as a hippo, wild water buffalo, or hog to as small as a worm, mussel, and mouse

For the last segment, my favorite related fact is that there is a chunk of Canada (part of the Ontario peninsula) that is south of the US. I live near Detroit, and when in downtown, we can look to Windsor across the river while facing south. Some say this is what Journey meant when they sang "born and raised in South Detroit" - they meant Windsor.

France is the country with the most times zones. The reason for this is that, unlike the UK for example, its overseas holdings are considered part of France. So there are 12 time zones for France (or 13 if you count parts of Antarctica).
@SkunkApe407
@SkunkApe407 Жыл бұрын
Not all of France's overseas territories are considered France, and not all of them are part of the EU. But even if we did go by your criteria, the US still holds seven more territories than France, all of which are spread across the globe. And as an added bonus, none of our territories or former colonies are currently dealing with coups or revolts.

8:14 - No. France has the most time zones. Of course, continental France, which is “familiar” to us, is located within the same time zone. However, together with the overseas departments and regions (Département et région d'outre-mer), it is the state of France that contains 12 time zones. In Russia there are only 11 of them.

France owns seven fewer territories than the US. The territories held by the US literally span the entire globe. If we go by this ridiculous criteria, the US would have more time zones than France. They have the Eastern Brown Snake, we have rattlesnakes, moccasins, and pythons. They have drop bears, we have iguanas that literally fall out of trees when we get a cold snap. (I'm not joking. It really happens.) The only difference between us and Australia is that, if Florida ever had an emu problem, we'd win that fight. Florida Man don't play that flightless bird BS.
