I’m always a bit suss when people see a door move on its own, and walk into the room with their back turned to one whole side of that room for a few seconds. If I had to do that, I’d be pivoting to check the corners so fast that I’d give myself whiplash. Feeling like I’ve exposed my back to a ghost/demon/junkie is absolutely dread-inducing, so when people in these videos seem content to leave their torch facing a wall for a few seconds, it makes me feel like they’re giving their accomplice enough time to get out.
