Being a night janitor in a school or any other buildings that has hundreds of people in it at a time is just terrifying to me. You don’t even have to believe in the paranormal, it’s just that fact that the those types of buildings are always full and now they are empty. It just doesn’t feel right, it feels wrong and out of place.

I used to be a night janitor (shifts ended at 11:30 but we sometimes had to stay late). It's definitely unnerving for the "liminal" reason u mentioned. There were always multiple custodians on a shift, but with everyone on different cleaning routes, you're frequently alone in that area of the building. I'm a skeptic, but I frequently had experiences that left me questioning. I even went as far as researching deaths at the school i was at and found there were a few at least. I wish I had recorded anything i experienced so I could know for sure if i was seeing/hearing things back then. Like I said I'm a skeptic so I usually chalked it up to reasonable explanations like echo or maybe someone was there and i didn't realize. Also considered if I was being pranked, but genuinely seemed like I wasn't.

At 0:15 , that school actually looks very familiar to me. That image of a school is actually called John St. Elementary School, and it's located right by West Hempstead, and Franklin Square in Nassau County, Long Island/ New York. I went to that school when I was in Kindergarten all the way to 3rd grade, and I ended up moving to another school because i felt uncomfortable there, but i still remained in the same district until i graduated in 6th grade and got into high school. I'm now currently 20 years old, and I live on campus. Those years flew by soo fast!

What makes it worse is that's one of them silicone babies, and they weigh a lot... Even the smaller ones are around 3 lb and that one is a toddler doll it probably weighs AT LEAST 5 lb. And the head is also heavy that's why it's all slumped when it's just sitting they actually are kinda creepy dolls. I don’t have a clip but I remember it was a late night me and my two older siblings where in my moms room together (the door was open), my aunt used to live w us my cousin came in and asked if we can keep our voices down we said “okay sorry” a few mins later my older sis and brother where laughing too loud and my cousin came in she was standing in-front of the door i asked if something was wrong she stood there dead silent for 3/4 sec, then she slammed the door shut, I thought it was her but there was something odd abt her, her eyes where glowing green me and my older sis got up to check up one her we found her dead asleep, we tried to wake her up and asked her if she shut the door she replied “no I was asleep” so then we got a bit nervous and told her she was just there a few seconds ago, the next day she told us she fell asleep at 10 to 11 o’clock we where up till 2 am. Few weeks later objects kept on moving on its own or turned on on its own for example our refrigerator opened our microwave would turn on or something would always fall to the ground.

I had the same exact experience with a balloon while staying with my father. And the spirit followed my every command as to where I wanted the balloon to be moved. I feel for that janitor. I was a student nurse at a teaching hospital built in the 1800s. It was used as everything from a dorm to an infirmary to a "womens ward" that included labor and delivery, it was a daycare at the time i was there in the mid 90s. I heard a lot of noises that i couldnt explain but i walked out of the area and refused to come back when i heard a baby crying, i had to walk by the room it sounded like it was coming from to leave and i couldnt help but look in as i try to get by as fast as i can and i noticed the rocking chair in the corner of the room rocking on its own. I noped my way out of the whole building.

Terrifying story i had a similar experience while I think its a ghost I couldn't tell. At night while trying to find my dog; I was walking, listening to music while on my bike I remember hearing a scream that didn't sound human it sounded odd something you would hear in SAS 4 or something. I rode back home as fast as I could; my dog followed behind me but when I told him to come into the house he didn't then I heard something walking from the right of my house. Hate me for this but I slammed my door. I heard the footsteps stop at my door and Immediately heard my dog whimpering after 3 or so minutes the sounds stop and I hear sounds that seem like it moved to my back yard I opened the door and let my dog in and listened. The sounds stopped.

The red balloon part is poorly acted, and when the balloon comes out of the classroom the string below it has faded away and you can no longer see the weight below it like you could inside the classroom. Janitor also tries to hide this part when filming, because there is likely a fishing wire tied to it.

A balloon that just follows you like that would be extremely eerie. Not bobbing around like it normally would, but floating on an even level would creep me out to no end. Coming around corners and then just heading straight at you… Nope. I’m good, thank you very much. This video was very well shot. And while I don’t buy nearly every single video of “paranormal” stuff, I can’t deny that that one was well made. Edit: Yes, there is a weight at the bottom of the string. As a matter of fact, there are weights at the bottom of ALL of the balloon’s strings. Since they’re filled with helium, they kind of have to have the weights or they float all the way up to the ceiling. So, of course there’s a weight there. Kinda goes with the territory…

The balloon hitting the corner of the wall at turning is enough evidence to know that he was pulling the balloon but i dont think he was pulling it with the weight at the bottom because no matter how slowly he pulled the balloon and the thread would tilt backwards which was not the case here

The balloon wasn’t moving, as if it was being pulled by a weight at the bottom of the string If that were happening, the string would move, but the balloon itself would Trail slightly behind, and then it would all lineup evenly once the polling stopped

Something similar happened to me. The balloon stayed on the ground because it wasnt filled with helium. I was on my parents room when i noticed it was moving towards me. I threw it down the stairs for fun and then it started to slowly go up and even make a 180 degree turn you need to do to on the stairs and started to come in the room again. I got on the bed and threw it again, it did the same thing and this time it started to climb up the bed. I threw it again cuz i found it really weird and then went into my room which is right next to the stairs but you have to make another 180 degree turn to go in from them and after a while the balloon was there and instead of going to my parents room it turned around and went into mine. It creeped me out so i tried to pop it but it didnt work so i just threw it down again and it didnt come back up.

I was a janitor. All highschools are haunted. Especially theatre rooms and acting rooms. I saw a ghost in the theatre room. My coworkers saw things too. The ghosts aren't as strong as this schools. I would just feel dread. And I saw my first when my coworkers decided to ghost hunt after we finished cleaning our sections.
