two thirds of the dust comes from outside, as dirt tracked in on your feet, and airborne particles like pollen and soot. the rest is mostly carpet fluff, clothes fibres. human dead skin and hair. it's completely normal to have little to no dust in rooms that were locked for years

I was the overnight security guard for about a year in an older hospital, myself and co-workers, and the nurses all had our experiences, but mostly just a general uneasy feeling in certain areas, or a feeling of being watched. Myself and one specific other night guard did see someone turn a corner on the cameras, to a hallway with no other exit than that same entrance hallway, and when I sent him to check it out, there was nobody there. The entire hospital was secure at night, and the only other people were the nurses monitoring the locked ward on the 3rd floor. Some people are more sensitive than others, it would seem. I personally saw a little girl in the pediatric section one night, same deal, no inpatient services on that floor, locked and secure at night. I absolutely noped right out of that area.

I used to work at an old people’s home, working nightshifts mainly. And because we lose a lot of old people yearly (usually about 20 a year) due to sickness or old age, you would think it’s a good place that could be haunted…. But I’ve never ever seen, heard or felt anything supernatural…. And you might think that it’s because they have died fulfilled of their regrets and duties, that’s not the case…. Some of the dead residents have had unfinished business, yet I have never experienced any of them coming over from the other side to say hello

It's because those areas are still maintained. First off, alot of the equipment can go bad if it's not left running similar to arcade cabinets or older computers. And while it may not be in active use it's not like people don't pass through the area. But the most primary aspect of all is that hospitals need these wards as backup incase of emergency situations. If there is say a sudden viral outbreak flooding the building will need these extra and otherwise unused areas for availability ASAP so lights can't be turned out.

As a longtime healthcare worker it’s strange to find a haunted ER. The ER isn’t the place where most of the death happens. In the one ‘haunted hospital’ I worked at it was the old critical care unit (lots of death there), and especially NICU - critical care for children.

Working at a hospital there were many people who said the basement was haunted and the mechanics and engineers didn’t see it hear anything until they quit like all of them. So I was on Night Shift downstairs and I walked around and spotted the stairs for the basement and I looked down the stairs and all I saw was a large shadow staring at me with small white eyes. Went to visit because she was gonna stay overnight and I never once saw another patient or a visitor the whole time and we had to walk a little bit to get to the ICU section. As a ex-custodian worker, that clip is true, we work alone in our areas and it’s creepy cleaning classrooms at night by it self but to have a haunting was my worst fear while working, keep in mind we personally got off at like 1 in the morning so it was a pretty creepy job but I tried not to think about it and get the bread 😂

well dont bring a haunted doll in to your home, I have 3 dolls 2 small ones and 1 thats are 1 meter and something in height. They all three belongs to my fathers aunt whom passed away in 2016. We got the dolls and its been in the laundry room right besides my room. We havent noticed anything, and I casually walked in and saw that her hat was off, so I put it on and talks to her (just to see if she moves) but she dosnt move at all. We recently moved them up in the attic and after that I feel a cold present every time when I sleep. (but I only get the feeling when I sleep towards my wall and not looking into the darkness of my room, when I switch sides the "wind" is there for a sec before leaving) Its always between 11am and 2am. I dont have AC and my window are closed. This happened every day for 2 weeks before it now stopped. I am a Christian (not 100% religious) but I belive there is something more between earth and heaven. I belive sometimes when I feel a cold sensation or that something is near, I belive its my fathers aunt whom is visiting. Example I had a packet of candy in my shelf filled with candy and it was between some stuff so it was stuck there. Suddenly it just falls over and hit the ground. (my mother thinks its just gravity and it was just slowly falling down). But I know that explanation could not be true. I have encountered 3 ghostly activity throughout my 19 year long life. Sorry I wrote a whole essay 😅

When I was a kid I loved dismembering dolls - the arms and legs could easily detach and reatach anyways. The thing is, I went the extra mile with Barbies, because I would sneak out a butter knife and saw their arms and legs off. My parents quickly stopped giving me dolls. Then, I grew up and and started to have a interest in collecting dolls. It wasn't until last year (I'm in my late 20s) that I managed to secure a few of them. I rework their hair and face painting from time to time and sew clothes for them. Sometimes when I'm sad I even take one of them to the room where I'm at and have them sit nearby. They all even have names. I can only think if my spirit will haunt them after I'm gone, because imagine trying to explain a collectible anime doll is keeping you awake at night, lol.

Just a little note on the doll in #6 ! I don’t believe it was “hidden” so it wouldn’t be sold ; it’s more likely someone “stashed” it somewhere so they could buy it later (usually to wait for the tag color/etc to go on sale). As someone who thrifts a lot, it’s a practice I’ve seen a few times. While I’m not certain regarding the head movement (all I can think of non-paranormal-wise is that it was sat unevenly in its box?) , the music box suddenly playing isn’t too crazy. I’ve found they’re a bit sensitive to being jolted by movement, and some are position-based (So, if the doll did slant in its box, a music box could be activated- like those blinking dolls!) Also, regarding #4! Frankly, that sounds more like a pipe/water issue than a spirit.

Paranormal activities being shown up in hospital are rare things. Once me and my husband were in night shift with 2 nurses with us. (I was newly working there that time) We both were heading towards our cabin and that exact time one of the nurse called me that the patient's pulse rate is going up and down. I rushed there and saw him breathing heavily while pointing his finger towards the door. But surprisingly there was nothing. After calming down the patient i came back to my cabin and saw my cabin's window is open, i didn't take it in any serious way and just went to close it. For your better understanding let me tell you my cabin is on the third floor and it's window is facing towards the mortuary which is on the back side of the hospital ground (it was like a basement but still it's gate is visible from third floor) when i went to close the window i saw two peoples from inside holding the gate's rod like they wanted to come out from there, for clear vision i went back to my table to grab my torch light and i came back and flashed it towards them and that exact moment those two persons body changed from white cloths to black with shining red eyes like it's burning. Shutting my eyes hard I was frozen on my place trembling there, i wasn't able to scream or utter anything. That's when my husband came and shake my shoulder and asked me what happened i didn't say anything until we arrive home. After that i said him everything and later i get to know almost every nurses and doctors have experienced this paranormal activity.
