i feel like Jon feeling tired after his trip to Vancouver is a combination of boredom and his brain just then realizing "Oh shit i can actualy turn off now". Cuz that what happened with me last year after finishing school after all the covid chaos, having family over for 2 weeks and having constant stress for months on end. Once i had my best friend over and it was cool to just stay home, chill and play games i just crashed, even cried because all that stress just stopped. Maybe, and i know im mega interpreting stuff here, but maybe he realy just needs a bigger, better planned out break. And maybe as bad as it sounds, Jon just needs to crash himself so he can pick up the pieces 😅 That being said, Jon if you read this, if you and reese get to take a long vacation again maybe even abroad for a month or something, i'll be over here cheering you on. Hype Poison is an hilarious phrase because that alone means people don't understand what Hype is. "extravagant or intensive publicity or promotion." "promote or publicize (a product or idea) intensively, often exaggerating its importance or benefits." By definition the entire point of Hype is to make you think it is better then it is, that is the entire point. To be hyped for something is literally saying you're expecting to be let down. To be hyped for something literally means admitting you feel victim to manipulative tactics. Hype is inherently poison.

Lots of people hate Yakuza 7 because it's an RPG instead of action. I call them cowards because it seriously isn't that painful- you're in and out of combat just as fast as any other Yakuza game.
