It's because around every corner, there are anc members, tenderpreneurs and friends, all who are eyeing a lifestyle of luxury. I was recently present at a tender meeting for the Gauteng Dept of Community Safety, AKA Pantoffel Lesufi's way of employing potential bed mates. Some of the people who pitched up for the meeting were not in the least bit interested in what was going on, clearly indicating a tenderpreneur who was already given the contract, but had to attend to be on the attendance register and to keep up appearances.

Well done Wayne, good to see your team doing this work, exposing the rot for all to see. I don't regret signing up and making a small contribution every month, and I'd like to encourage others to do the same. Unfortunately we have people in power who have no moral values, who have no problem in stealing from the public purse, and without independent investigations teams to follow up on whistleblowers, we would all be none the wiser. I truly hope that this gets the attention it deserves from the NPA, and that criminal proceedings are instituted, with stiff sentences, which will serve as a deterrent for this kind of behavior.

Funny thing is that banks issue cards every 5 years. They cannot be faked and will chase you for R10 that you owe them. The bank cards rely on encrypted data stored within them. The licence cards have to look "pretty" ;-)

Depends on when the case can be set to serve before court. With the current minister of Justice in control and John Hlope as part of judges appointment committee, don't set your hopes to high. Brilliant work Wayne. The question is who is the company who does it belong to? The whole thing could be ogesytrated from the scope and spec design to secure the order to that company. What does the Lazer imprinting deliver is it not good for control, centerlized data base etc. what if the external influencers are exx South Africans engaged by the controlersb and thus owners of the company? Hallo Mr Duvenage, seeing that ETol is basically something of the past, why is there an ETol shop in Cresta shopping centre, Blackheath, there rent is expensive, if not the most expensive, in Gauteng. Even if it is for a private company, something is wrong. There is even a Home affairs, shop that never works. They are allways of line. Identify these 'business facilitators' and then investigate their movements, communications, connections, transactions, past activities, etc., and their principals on both sides of the equation.

Internal manipulation requires a combination of strong internal controls and external oversight. Involve HR, legal and audit departments. Ensure whistleblower protection . Encourage reporting of suspicious activities.
