If you consider the punishments that took place in the Old Testament, it appears that only the most egregious Sins are punishable by death. But that doesn’t negate the notion that all sin is inherently evil and thus deadly/devastating to civilization when perpetuated on a global scale. in light of that, all sin is deadly because it corrupts the human heart. For more insight into this understanding i recommend you research the meaning of “spiritual death”, and what it means to be ‘dead in your sins’. That being said, all sin may not be punishable by death, but all sin creates a distance between man and God which can be seen as a spiritual death.

@Sandier Ramirez every sin se just as bad as any other sin. There's no difference in the eyes of the lord sin is sin. But forgiveness is forgiveness and god forgives everyone no matter what as long as you ask for it. Learn from your sins though, if you choose to commit the same sin over and over but ask for forgiveness then there's no point in asking for forgiveness cause you'll just be doing it again and the Lord knows you're intentions. If it's something you're truly working but keep falling short from grace the Lord knows you're heart and will forgive you no matter what! I have seen and witnessed many many miracles if i said I didn't trust or believe in God id be a huge liar. No one can make you believe but the Lord himself. I'm happy you found God. Just know this ppl may and most definitely will judge you, but remember this only the Lords judgment matters. Good bless you all brothers and sisters.

@Gary Washington but why did God require the death of his own son to forgive our sins? He could've just forgave us and spared the bloodshed.
@billyingles5 жыл бұрын
Gary Washington So in your idea of God, he is not omnipotent as he has to follow this set rule? If he was omnipotent, he could set the rules as he wished. It seems bizarre to me that he would need to make such a rash decision as to make a human sacrifice of his son, when if he was omnipotent, he could have forgave us without it.

Billy Ingles Adam and Eve doomed humanity that’s why he saved us from there deed and made life hard , And when he died he opened the gates of heaven that’s mostly the reason why so he basically saved us all from inferno for all forever also in John 3:16 it said that for all who truly believe in him shall have eternal life.

Also seems like you skipped over reading the title of the track and missed the end of the song. It wasn't called "God's Work." Joyner says: I know it's not your fault (god's), it's the devils work).
@EvanTrace5 жыл бұрын
If Joyner were blaming god and not realizing his fault at the end, this response would hold validity. And props to you Biz for making a heartfelt song, but I think you were too quick to jump on what you interprited it to be and missed the mark. However, it would've been a great parallel if you addressed that very cruicial fact at the end. Something akin to: "I know you're not blaming Me, still I can't help but hurt - 'cuz I can't save you from the Devil's work." Would've tied the messege up in a nice bow, but hey - maybe a part II?

@michaelgirgis90195 жыл бұрын
Yes the clay got something to say, because the clay recognizes that it is imperfect. This guy, on the other hand, sits on his supposedly perfect almighty ass and dares to get offended when we question why children die of starvation in civil wars. While he plays everlasting life as a lottery, I’ll be trying my best to do a small part of the job that he’s been neglecting. I don’t play by this God’s rules. What sort of just God stands idly by as Donald Trump rips children from their parents and then has the balls to say that he loves the president? I do not owe this God my respect nor love, send me to hell if you want to.
@EvenGodsDie5 жыл бұрын
@Dalton , "God didnt do anything to us. the devil betrayed him and then seduced Adam and eva which is how we came to be imperfect. " God created everything with a plan, and he knows everything, right? So, he couldn't have been betrayed by the creature he created, if he knew with 100% certainty what the devil was going to do, before he created him in the first place. "the reason he doesn't just step in right now is because the devil told God that man kind would be better under his rule so God gave him a chance to prove it. " That's insane. Imagine if someone let a KNOWN serial child murderer and rapist babysit their children for a weekend, while having 100% knowledge that the serial child murder and rapist was in fact going to rape and murder their children. Then they use your insane logic, that "He said he would do a good job, so I give him the chance to prove it." "God will come at the right time and destroy the wicked ones we just need to have faith." When is the right time to stop someone from raping your mother to death? Why in the world would you consider it helpful to destroy someone AFTER they've done it, instead of before?
@EvenGodsDie5 жыл бұрын
@April- Aries2000 "how can you be a better god" That's easy. I could have added a commandment in the bible that said "Thall shall not own another person as property." "that's like me watching from the balcony of a building and below I see 2 cars about to crash, does that mean it's my fault for watching something 2 to 3 drivers could've prevented" Actually, it's more like you are watching a small child getting beaten to death very slowly in front of you, and you have the ability to stop that man, with no effort on your part, and no threat of being harmed. But instead you just stand right there beside the man and watch him do it.
@EvenGodsDie5 жыл бұрын
@April- Aries2000"actually how are they gonna worship you if they don't even worship the original god " I just told you how I can be a better God. I wouldn't need to be worshiped, because I'm not a megalomaniac. And I certainly wouldn't torture people for eternity, if they didn't worship me. "sooo don't flip no false accusation of what you think I done" Yeah, I didn't flip any false accusation on you. It's called a hypothetical, and I was using your own logic, but in relation to the original topic which was God. But the interesting thing is, God is the person who is standing there watching a child getting beaten to death and not doing anything about it. If a person were to do that, I think you'd consider them a moral monster. God does it every day. "then speak in general and not specific about me.....cuz i'd never in my life watched anyone got beat up....so your lying by assumptions" You brought up the balcony story, to make an analogy to the position God is in... And if that's not what you were doing, then your story was completely off topic. I'm sorry that you missed the point.
@EvenGodsDie5 жыл бұрын
@April- Aries2000 my analogy was a more accurate representation of what God is doing, which is like a father standing right beside a man who is beating his newborn baby to death, and just watching. As for guardian angels, please quote me the Bible verse that mentions a guardian angle. And how is it relevant if God is just standing next to his guardian angels, watching a man rape and murder a baby? I think it's interesting that when you thought I was saying that you'd just watch that happen, you thought It would make you look bad.

@ I think you missed the point entirely. Rewatch the last 50 seconds of Joyners song. At the start of the song, he asks God why he couldn't prevent the bad from happening and goes on a spree. But then comes to conclusion saying that hes frustrated, confused, and doesnt know what to do. But he shouldn't be blaming God because it's the Devils work. Joyner built that up perfectly for the title of the song to be the final lyric of the song. Take a drug addict or any Sinner whose frustrated and turning towards God. Pastors say they see this transformation all the time where the victim is frustrated at first, but later realizes that God is not to blame. Its the Devils work.

@@essex0926 the devil didn’t make Lucas drink, and hate on certain people praying they should die and give back who he thinks are the good ones. He was very judgmental and questioning things he didn’t understand. That’s like a kid thinking they know more than the good parent. In this case God. He accused God of being wrong then at the end want to say everything is messed up cuz it’s the devils work. If you know anything about God and the word of God you would clearly see Lucas is doing the devils work and a child of the devil and that goes for anyone who doesn’t do Gods will.

@BobbyBulletInc5 жыл бұрын
Sid, To believe that Jesus died twice is to believe that He died once (which he did on the cross for you and our sins), was raised from the dead (which he did 3 days later to prove that he is God), and died again (which is where you fall short in knowledge) but that’s ok He (Jesus) loves you and wants you to know Him better. The good news is that He didn’t die again, He is still alive! You’re almost there lil bubbie all you have to do is believe in your heart that He died and was raised from the dead and is still alive now, search him out with all your heart He will reveal Himself to you. If you believe in your heart that Jesus is Lord and confess with your mouth you will be saved. Praying for you lil bubbie🙏🏻

Walker Sonneville Devils Work
@EvanTrace5 жыл бұрын
I'm gonna help you rest easy @illusionio and break it down for you: Joyner's song is called what? "Devil's Work" - with the last line being: "I know it's not your fault (god's), it's the devil's work." Lucas realizes at the end that he's complaining to the wrong person/deity/entity (whatever you want to call it) and that it's NOT Go'ds fault, but is in fact the Devil's - and that's who he SHOULD'VE been complaining to/asking questions of previousy in the entire song instead of god. Hope that clears some things up. This is the first song I've heard from this artist, Biz, and I like it - but obviously think that the messague is ultimately a fallacy that misses the most cruitial part of the song (and completely overlooks or discerns the SONG'S TITLE).

@hizpicasso5 жыл бұрын
Tracie Kneal the devil is the one who makes you think you know the best way to live this life. Even when God has given us perfect instructions on how to live it. Take a good look at how the world acts collectively and then go analyze The Word of God. You’ll see exactly why Jesus had to die to redeem us. If you receive and except Gods word for what it truly is, and invite God in, then you can detect the devils ways and you’ll know exactly who he is. I didn’t know any of this either. I’m telling you because we gotta stick together as bros and sisters. I don’t wanna see you fall I wanna be with you forever in Gods kingdom having good laughs and serving one another in love, not burning forever. Trust me when you see how sick (we all are) or once were, then you’ll be able to hear God, after hearing the truth, then yo can receive it, after receiving, repent ask for forgiveness with honest intentions. It’s not your fault for not knowing God knows that. That’s why he wants to invite you in to (love) on who he created. Much love to you whoever you are from my family to yours from the state of Washington. Trust God. ❤️

Well, the last line of the song is crucial and could easily be missed, but the final words Joyner says are: "I know it's not your fault (god's), it's the devil's work... Devil's Work (repeating the track name)." By the end, he's come to terms with the fact that it's not god, but the devil who he's asking "why" to and blaiming for taking certain people over others. Does that make sense or do you still see it differently?

But it's kinda not. It's man's work the devil only can tempt you. Man has the free will to go that way or go god way. It's a choice. Death is gonna come for us all. It's the second death to worry about. It all comes down to who do you believe in

I almost wish I didn't hear this song. There's so much raw truth in it that actually made it painful to listen to because everything that is being said to "Lucas" can and should be heard by every person walking this earth.

Tracie Kneal someone who is familiar with God's Word is someone that can answer certain questions about Him or directed at Him. This song is in rap response form but it still pretty much comes right out of God's Word (the Bible). Go look up Genesis 1:29, Isaiah 55:8-9, Romans 3:10-12, Psalm 14:1-3, Psalm 53:1-3 & Job, chapters 38-41 when you have time. These are directly related to this response song. And most of what Joyner was talking about is NOT the devil's work, directly, it's our own work. We have choices that come with consequences. Many people he named died due to their own actions. Bizzle does a GREAT job of giving us the likely point of view of God. Please consider... Much love✌🏾

That's biblical, logical and real talk right there!! Speaking truth in love. The fearful thing is when we all stand before God. There will not be any excuse we can use to as why you didn't receive Christ. He can see straight through every lie and every excuse people use not to believe. Repent and put your faith in Jesus. He IS THE ONLY WAY!!
