I still can't believe the strings on this track, especially the rhythm of the strings and of the voice constantly chasing each other. This reminds me of a high speed car chase. I sing this, and it takes a lot of focus.

Her voice was so PERFECT in this performance... she sounds exactly the same as she did in the 90s

She also looks the same as she did in the 90s! She’s amazing

this incredible live performance of 'mouth mantra' live @ the king's theatre '15 , from her 8th studio album 'vulnicura' is perhaps the most powerful electric live performance of 'mouth mantra' ever seen to date period .

Her outfit and look totally seem pulled from her sugarcubes time. I wander if it was intentional🧡 she looks so light and alive while singing about her voice braking. It’s so healing

I can’t tell if I like this song sometimes, but other times it goes so hard man wow

It's one of her craziest, most ambitious songs. I don't even think there's a 'definitive' version of it but some parts of the album version and even more some live versions are INSANELY good. When one feels like listening to some difficult music ;-)

such a CRIME there isn't a Vulnicura Live DVD :((( one of her best tours in years and Mouth Mantra live was such an experience PS: the very best version tho is from Rome with the fireworks ;)

Although the whole album has one same aching undertone, this one sound the most malicious and resentful

Mouth mantra is not angry to me, it’s more tenacious, triumphant, and tactile. She’s getting it back, not breaking it down
