A very interesting video. I knew I would see monster red stags, I wasn't disappointed. It was particularly pleasing also, because I have a lifetime experience with fallow, to see a number of good mature bucks available to clients. Too many New Zealand hunters shoot 3 yr old bucks, and wonder why the antlers are disappointing. BJ is obviously a good Manager.

Thanks for the vid. great looking deer. Was little concerned though that for most of the time when you were walking through the bush with your Texan customer he had the rifle pointed at your back! just remember safety first. Always treat a gun like it is loaded and point it in a safe direction.

I have the magazine in my pocket at all time until ready to fire, this is policy with us. I often have to be in front leading the way, that's a guides job so knowing the rifle is clear is paramount...Thanks

Its considered unethical by some to shoot an animal lying down . Its also a bigger target when standing . Very much a personal choice. I shot a stag yesterday laying down but it had been very difficult to get near him and I wanted to kill him so he got it in the neck..
