I love submission grappling, but to make it more entertaining, especially for non grapplers, we need short rounds. Maybe 3 x 3 minute rounds. 1 point for a takedown and. 1 point for a near submission. Also lose a point for stalling.

It's crazy to me how so many comments said this was boring. I love grappling especial standup. That was some amazing techniques back and forth! Super exciting and would love to see more grappling exchanges this intense. I didn't see stalling or whatever ppl think it was. It was a lot of aggressive grappling and then counter grappling (not anti grappling). A lot of throws are counters. when your opponent pushes in you use their momentum. Are the common jiujitsu practitioners really that oblivious to stand up? I hope that changes!

I think it's a good strategic fight by Reinier. Tye, being the smaller fighter, has to close the distance, RDR uses his weight well to wear him out. I the larger fighter tries to match the pace of the smaller fighter, he will be gassed out within minutes.
