@@jiu-jitsuwithcoachgcailey2365 your welcome ma'am, I wanna ask that I roll with some women and I feel they are physically stronger than me because they workout!! So is workout compulsory in jiu jitsu?
@jiu-jitsuwithcoachgcailey23659 ай бұрын
@@Notonlyone320 I find that a lot of people workout and lift outside of Jiu Jitsu. Overtime technique will beat strength most of the time. I do believe when you have someone who is stronger and has the same level of technique as you strength does give advantage there.

@@Notonlyone320 don’t feel bad, keep training, one day you’ll catch a mistake she makes and use it your advantage. It’s all part of the game.

Can you do a video on some judo sweeps like Ouchi Gari and Osoto Gari?

Can you demonstrate different ways to apply the scissors choke? I don't see it that often but when done right it seems very effective.

Hey coach g is there's mounted triangle from the high mount
@jumjum999 ай бұрын
Nice submissions. An mma question. As far as ground and pound goes, is high mount superior to a lower mount? It seems like lots of fighters are scared to posture for fear of losing position... Also, it's not as common, but is the crucifix or mounted triangle even better for striking?
@jiu-jitsuwithcoachgcailey23659 ай бұрын
My coach is a professional mma fighter I am going to ask him what he thinks about high mount vs low mount for mma. The crucifix in mma is powerful, the person in it has no way to cover up from being hit. Mounted triangle in mma can be good but you’re only holding the head and one arm if the person is flexible they have free movement of their body and if the triangle is not tight or in the right spot(too high on the head) they can slip out then it’s a scramble.
@jiu-jitsuwithcoachgcailey23659 ай бұрын
I verified with my coach high mount is superior for mma in low mount everytime you start to posture to punch your opponent is going to bridge and off balance you.
@jumjum999 ай бұрын
It makes sense. So high mount postured up or low mount with no posture... Thanks for the analysis @@jiu-jitsuwithcoachgcailey2365
