So as I've been saying.... He could've smashed his face apart but instead chose the faster, more merciful road... Meaning, he could've gone for all submission finishes in the first round of ALL his fights or most of them, but chose--emphasis on CHOSE--to prolong each fight by punching... He could've really EASILY subbed all the fights he dominated like he did Justin... The top fighters in the world and he could've made it look easier but he didn't... Damn this man is good... So good we never even saw him go "all out" and use all his most efficient combat options... That's crazy

Getting Khabib on here to teach grappling for mma is pretty brilliant. You have guys like John Danaher, Gordon Ryan, Mikey Musumeci, Bernardo Faria himself, and many more to do pure grappling which can be applied to mma, but I'm not sure who else has actually done it quite as well as Khabib.

@@REXAZOR Danaher better bjj coach and khabib better MMA coach.
@martialmusicman3 жыл бұрын
@@REXAZOR I mean I agree with you, although we may not get a full sense of Khabib's articulation when he is speaking English. That being said, I think you have to concede that Danaher's primary focus, at least with instructionals but maybe with athletes too, has been submission grappling revolving around the now-disbanded Danaher Death Squad. He wants to turn no gi grappling into its own lucrative, spectator sport. John may never release material on mma. Khabib on the other hand made his success almost completely from being a grappling heavy mma fighter, and surely has a unique perspective. I'm not saying he is better, just a great addition to a niche that doesn't get much coverage.

@@Ahrbok Nah, Danaher is actually an expert in striking as well. He’s the full package.

@@cryptocaesar8972 not really. Danaher has trained with MMA champions, but has never been the head coach of a high level martial artist. Point to a fighter camp where Danaher was brought in for striking
