it's improv and she wrote the lyrics - she hardly forgot them! artists like Björk always state that their music evolves as they tour and play live.

when all the planets in the solar system aline themselves with the sun, an unworldy masterpiece like Homogenic manages to surface: inspired, inspiring, and thoroughly perfect. perhaps the most important album ever to reach my ears...

I agree with some of the recent posts. A deep sad and simultaneous excitement all in one. I usually do not like "live" stuff usually, however Bjork does some amazing stuff and this one is one that I could play over and over in my mind - the choice of wardrobe, the simple yet distinct facial color add to the whole feeling. Her sultry and seductive dancing with her silhouette visible while her voice and the accompanying music - it just makes for an amazing heart tugging emotional performance imo.

AMAZING! And to think I turned the channel in 1993 when "It's oh so quiet" came on. and I didn't discover her again until September 2016!

Dan Osterhout Last year I was watching a Thom Yorke interview where he mentioned her as 1 of his favourite artists and after that i looked up 'It' Oh So Quiet'. Been obsessed with her ever since.

I think it's cool how things happen like that! How I discovered her for the 2nd time was Ricardo Lopez documentary showed up on here, I typed in Bjork and Human Behaviour it was! Still addicted to this day! She really don't even have to say a word and still she's amazing! 4:34

Dan Osterhout I'm yet to watch the Ricardo Lopez video cause i fear it'll be too traumatic for me. When i played 'Human Behaviour' for my friends they just didn't get it. It's a fantastic song but i guess Bjork is a bit of an acquired taste for most people.

Funny, I remember her remarking in an interview how this song was originally recorded with strings. She took a listen and decided she wanted a glass harmonica instead, to keep the'Homogenic' tracks from sounding too much alike. The she adds them back during the live shows.
