I still can’t believe I’m sitting in the front row for this concert. A million thanks to the ticket lady on the phone who decided to give a poor college student the thrill of her life. I didn’t believe the usher when he told me “all the way to the front deary”, as we walked past Bono & PJ Harvey. One of the best experiences of my life. 💗🙏🏻

I never could imagine there were so many artist there aswell. Now nothing take off of my mind that could be so many artists right there just like beyonce, timbaland, and madonna. Its a good thought about bjork recognition even that may be a hypothetical one.

Bjork on what inspired the song 'Hyperballad' "The critical time in a relationship, which usually happens after 3 years, and I can see all around me with all my friends. It's got to do with when you fall in love, it is so precious to you, you never know this might be the last time, so your behaviour towards the loved one becomes very sweet and you go somewhere else to be aggressive. Because I believe that all people have got both sides. So you end up having to unload your aggression at a bar or by throwing cutlery off cliffs. So you can come back to your loved one, kiss him sweet on his cheek, and say happily, Hi honey."

@118060184418100742961 the guys are Matmos, they are like super skilled with electronics:) probably a part why this tour (and the subsequent Greatest Hist tour which they were on as well) was so good, all the programming and effects were perfect, some even done live. and yeah, I think Hyperballad has better live version than the studio one. btw I love how Björk seems to approve of the beat change 3:18 ;))

I saw Tricky play once... when the show started all the lights went out... all you could see were the rack mount lights and throughout the entirety of the show it stayed like that, with only the occasional raising and lowering of 3 or 4 very very, barely noticable red lights along the floor 9f the stage. All you heard was his voice and the band. Your other senses were overpowered by the darkness and the sound. It was the most amazing show I never saw...but heard.

We live on a mountain Right at the top There's a beautiful view From the top of the mountain Every morning I walk towards the edge And throw little things off Like car-parts, bottles and cutlery Or whatever I find lying around It's become a habit A way to start the day I go through all this Before you wake up So I can feel happier To be safe up here with you I go through all this Before you wake up So I can feel happier To be safe up here with you It's real early morning No-one is awake I'm back at my cliff Still throwing things off I listen to the sounds they make On their way down I follow with my eyes 'til they crash Imagine what my body would sound like Slamming against those rocks When it lands Will my eyes Be closed or open? I go through all this Before you wake up So I can feel happier To be safe up here with you I go through all this Before you wake up So I can feel happier To be safe up here with you I go through all this Before you wake up So I can feel happier To be safe up here with you Safe up (here with you)

I just broke up with the girl i thought i'd spend my whole life with, 1 month after i bought an house for us. I had so many moments where i wanted to really express myself to her but she couldn't handle my weak side, i had to always be the positive and strong man with her. I had to handle all her emotional up and downs and this really took a toll on me after years of never being able to be weak in front of her. This song really is about the last years of my Life, i love Bjork

@3:13 @3:15 @3:19 Shes such a phenomenal musician. I'm surprised no one has noticed nor mentioned this, but throughout her singing, she's making sure the rest of the musicians are okay. You can see her walk around to each person and sneak a peak to them, then around 2:00, she gets into positon she begins to sing. From that point on you can see how happy she gets based off of each musical instrument execution. And at 3:23, I think she even giggled/chuckled at the entire thing. So beautiful.

I know Bjork's interpretation, but for me the lyrics are translated into the feeling when you're unsafe in a relationship, but you deny the truth, so you go out and do something dangerous so you can back and feel some safety even from a partner who doesn't really care.... You drink a lot and you become self destructive and then all they have to do is comfort you in the most simple ways, even if they don't care so much.

This song is for all those people who cant´t explain depression and suicidal thoughts since no one today wants to listen or want to understand. Although you might feel like that , like you are standing on the edge wanting to end it all , but the love for that one person or those people who surround you , make you step back .... Bjork is one of the few artist on bringing depression or any other mental conditions up and show it to the world , in a wonderful yet thoughtful way. READ THIS SONG , and be thankfull that you are not alone , and try as hard as you can (i know its hard) to LOVE YOURSELF as much as you love others. At least there is this amazing musician out there in Iceland who understands exactly how you feel. LIVE .

There's times where I'm at my lowest, I listen to Bjork, and think to myself, "She's the only person who can understand without even having knowing or meeting me, without the wall of internal shame of having to express the scary stuff that makes your eyes wet and your throat closed up - the stuff that even you can't make sense of sometimes. I can give Bjork my heaviest emotions, and still not break her, or anyone else's heart with my truths."

So much does the heart strings pull, in all too familiar and painful ways. The tears, though they stream down, they fall so gladfully. And this, from a quiet night's watching of Bjork's Live at Royal Opera House 'Pagan Poetry' and 'Hyperballad' back to back.

I came to this cold... intrigued by the title. It seemed an odd little song. Then I watched it again and something clicked. I watched it again, and again, and again. It has invaded my soul. It makes me feels so good... so why am I crying?

It seems that spontaneous weeping during any one of a number of her songs, certainly this one, is common. One of the few gifted musicians to be able to transfer their love of life to the public through song. This song will never die.
