The bed creaks every time I move on the mattress. It’s not the slats creaking, it sounds like metal. When I remove the mattress I can’t recreate the sound. Can anyone help please??

We have the same issue, no matter how much I tighten it, if I remove the metal support, if I add additional supports. Ir still squeaks. We're returning the bed because it's unbearable. I even tried taping the ends of the metals to make it softer...

@@MrJonas7which slats do you have? We have the Lönset slats. We tried the taping method where the metal parts cross each other but it didn’t work. Just tried something a few weeks ago which so far has worked for us: we put Vaseline on the metal bars the slats rest on. Honestly haven’t had a creak since, so fingers crossed. But if the creaking starts up again we’re going to try the Luroy slats because it’s almost definitely a slats issue in our case. Hopefully something we tried might help you?

@@iBokkie We have the Lindbaden slats. Haven't tried the vaseline. But I already disassembled the bed. I also don't like that the whole bed kinda moves if I roll. I'm honestly so happy just having the mattress on the ground now with no squeaking :D
