I saw this line up play live in Amsterdam a few times and they were just phenomenal. They are to me, and will always be, the original and best ABBA tribute band. They were doing it way before the whole world jumped on the ABBA-is-hip-again bandwagon, and the people who attended these Bjorn Again shows, were mostly real hardcore ABBA fans. The atmosphere was unbelievable. I have no desire therefore to see ABBA: The Show or - shudders in disgust - Mamma Mia The Musical.

Mamma Mia the smash musical based on the songs of Abba get real I've seen it as well as both the original Mamma Mia film and the sequel.

Also it would depend on where you are / were in the world. At any one time there would be a number of 'Bjorn Again's' touring the different continents / hemispheres.

I saw this lineup play at the Chapel Street Festival in November 1996 on a stage set up in the middle of Chapel St, Prahran (a suburb of Melbourne, Australia where Bjorn Again originally came from). Between songs the guys were hilarious doing their Benny and Bjorn impressions and always keeping up fake Swedish accents.

Another very good Abba tribute band, is Abba Again, the British one, they have been around since, about 1999, they do loads of stuff in Britain, between November, and April. Then they go out to Mallorca, from May, to October, play just about everywhere, on the island, to hotel and restaurant audiences, and get rave reviews.

An ABBA tribute band just got done filling up the Royal Albert Hall in 1998. Tribute bands usually don’t do that. They usually show up at night clubs and casinos. But Bjorn Again hit it out of the ball park. They are still at it in 2022. There you have it. Enjoy.

1. This was the first time I have been able to understand all the words to "Waterloo". 2. I could never stand the song "Super Trouper" performed by Abba, but I quite like the Bjorn Again version.

@wannabex01 That's because, Mike's version sounds exactly sounds like the one from ABBA;) QE2 is the sixth record album by Mike Oldfield, released in 1980 on Virgin Records. The album contained both original Oldfield compositions as well as two cover version of pieces recorded by other bands ("Arrival" by ABBA and "Wonderful Land" by The Shadows).

Amazing, Wow, these performances from Royal Albert Hall all are better than the original Abba. Singing spot on, but best of all the girls Janette Stuart (Agnetha), Dorina Morelli (Frida) are working together on stage instead separately as Agnetha and Frida often appeared to disengage on stage. Vocals are fabulous as well, we love listening the way all the Abba songs are presented. Gavin Charles (Bjorn) and Peter Ryan (Benny) bring out better background vocals and instrumentation than Bjorn and Benny.
