I had been on a trip to Ladakh few years before this speech. This speech is true from Ladakh's heart. I had a Muslim driver and one day en route to a Buddhist monastery we saw a monk walking to the monastery. The driver humbly requested us if we can give lift to the monk and had so much respect for the monk. That's the spirit of Ladakh.

yes south people should try to learn hindi but not mandatory , only if they feel like and they should always promote there local languge ( local language(regional cultural identity must) + hindi(national identity, optional but should try if possible) + english(help in work and business ,important for career) ..
