I work in the signage industry, we use a very strong glue called LORD by Parker, we bond aluminum together, mostly large aluminum sheets to aluminum angles (the structure). It works great, no fasteners or weld dimples.. clean and easy. It can harden uneven if not careful while clamping, requires equal pressure. Cures fast like body fillers. 👍

The more Volvos I see the even more I like these swedish bricks. They always looked cool to me like an Ascona A Limo, a Kadet C Coupe or an Escort do. Kind of "abuse me" stitched on the front cover of the handbook.
