Thank you so much for your hard work. I agree with a previous contributor....the new gain with the common base amplifier added at the front end is 1486.

Overall voltage gain at 9.37, shouldn't be Vo2/Vin1?

Great explanation! Are you planning on making a video purely about impedance matching? If not, my question would be if I'm planning on amplifying the signal from a Colpitts Oscillator circuit. I'd obviously need a buffer stage otherwise the circuit would be loaded and the signal ruined. In this case would a common base buffer work (since it's a high freq signal) or a common collector buffer is more fitting?

I have a question: what will be the effect of adding 2 emitter resistors (one to each stage) on the overall voltage gain equation as well as of each stage. Thank you 🙏
@ALLABOUTELECTRONICS4 жыл бұрын
I have already covered it in the separate video. Because of the emitter resistor, the gain of the individual stage as well as overall gain will reduce. Here is the link of the video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oXSxqIhjhKx-Y7c

From CC at intial cascade, the ''' GAIN (overall) = 1485.4363 "". Pls. give confirmation feedback.

I got 1484.7

So CB is used for impedance matching, so we don't get any reflection voltage? Please do some videos about high speed connections. Thank you.
