I have a question Joe! There is a general saying that you have to stand on balls of the feet, but in this video your front foot and heel is down on the ground, most of the kickboxing coaches say that ball of the foot thing but i find it a bit unbalanced , standing like a kangaroo. And almost in every video i watched about kickboxing, people keep their heel down so my question, is it a more of a feeling that may not be seen from outside, you have to be on the balls of your feet but hell down?? Also my coach says keeping knees a little inwards not to be open for damage from low kicks what do you think?

Joe, I heard you on JRE and like many others here immediately became a fan. The moment I ended the podcast I came to your channel and subscribed. I'm looking forward to this series so much! It gives me a great starting point to try and learn some basic fundamentals. After hearing about how you stressed the importance on Rogan's podcast, I'm glad you're willing to teach the world basically for free. Thank you so much!

This is so important, I'm amazed how few instructors stress footwork. Usually going into a kickboxing class means memorizing some elaborate combo.

Quick question around 6 minutes in you talk about their movement and say "as long as they don't cross their feet" and go on to say that it can change the structure of their hands. Do you mean the the twist in the body it might cause pulling one of their shoulders back opening the guard or something different? Trying to visualize what could happen and I'm wondering if I'm on the same page. Thank you for this material I've taught a lot of this material but I'm always watching different people teach even if it's absolute basics I know because I may fall in love with the way they explain it or they may have a more universal example on a certain concept than I do.

Joe I've often heard of Mike Tyson referred to as the hardest hitting boxer of modern days. Who would you say is the hardest puncher out there across the boxing kickboxing Muay Thai. I have always been absolutely amazed at the amount of power that Jerome labanor was able to create when he was young man his punching power scary.... Tyson scary!!

Often overlooked basic that a lot of gyms miss out, its the boring stuff that no one likes to do but so vital in set up the great KOs and combinations. If you are looking for the minute details that make kickboxing so amazing, you've come to the right place.
