If you watch the punch at the end of the first round in the Martinez/Lewis fight at 1/4 speed, there was definitely a couple bell rings before he started the action of the punch. No contest was the right call

Few, if any, of these guys would even make decent sparring partners for top flight boxers. There is a reason why they fight fewer and briefer rounds.

boxing refs are so fucking weird. i only really watch mma, so seeing refs just stand to the side and do nothing to stop late strikes etc is so weird. it's like their job isnt to protect the fighters at all, it's so confusing. I don't think i like boxing Lol
