And before you bring up Season 1, I know that Lucas liked Peyton in Season 1, and even more than Brooke, but Brucas was made out to be truly meant to be way before Leyton was. So I'll never except Leyton to be meant to be after it became obvious that they were Plan B after the Chophia divorce.

You're saying Brooke and Julian are meant to be after just a couple episodes of VERY slight romantic tension with each other? Seems like that's a term you toss around lightly. Brucas had the destiny shot. They wouldn't have written that just for the hell of it. And that was far before the words "meant to be" or "true love always" or things like novels or proposals had ANYTHING to do with Leyton. They weren't made out as a meant to be couple until Season 4, and it was written horribly.
