Βλάχικο χώσιμο στον Υπουργό

Ο πρόεδρος του συλλόγου κτηνοτρόφων Αργυροπουλίου Χρήστος Λίτσας "τα ρίχνει" στα... βλάχικα στον (τότε) Υπουργό Αγροτικής Ανάπτυξης λόγω των προβλημάτων που αντιμετωπίζει ο κλάδος.

To be honest, the vlachs are a mysterious people. Their origins are unknown. Sure, they may be romanian in origin, who knows, I mean judging by their language it could give a trace of their origin. But even if that's the case, they've been heavily assimilated and intermixed through out the balkans that are barely romanian anymore. According to genetic studies, vlachs genetically differ from each other and are pretty identical to the nations of the countries that they live in. This, in theory, might prove that the vlachs are truly latinised native peoples, and therefore not JUST romanians, and that aromanian isn't necessarily a romanian dialect, but rather an eastern romance language, like istro-romanian, megleno-romanian and romanian, and the only reason they are similar is because they all belong to a branch, rather than being dialects of one specific language. Again, just a theory, not proven. Then here comes the name "vlach" and "wallachian". Both are the same word (meaning differs though), *however*, the word vlach is of german origin (from valhaz) and it meant foreigners and more specifically, celtic speakers. According to some historians, the word vlach was used by slavs (and maybe other peoples) to refer to the latin speakers of the balkans (later it was also used to refer to shepherds and nomads in general, like the sarakatsani, even though they are greek in origin). But if that's the case, don't vlachs call themselves armani or rramani? Honestly, the debate over the origin of the vlachs are just questions, theories, little evidence and more questions. Let's just keep what DNA tests offer and what vlachs themselves feel about their own identity. They feel albanian, greek, serbian, bulgarian and romanian. If that's how they like it, then discussion is closed.
