@@oneheart19 Because original novels are Bl, but China doesn't allow live action portrayals of gay romance at all, it's illegal, so they have to convert Bl stories into Bromance in order make them into series without breaking the law. If you've read the novels, then watching the various Bl turned bromance series is kind of okay, because you can just use your imagination to fill in the parts that were removed or changed to make it bromance. That's not for everyone though, but it's important to point out that the producers, and series directors, cast and writers, are not responsible for making it Bromance. They are forced by the govt, so please don't be mad at them.
