The drama quite evidently conveys how ming falls in love with and feels safe with joe, while trying to let go of his obsession or crush on Tong. I find it hard to understand why everyone can't see the evident: that their breakup is the result of Mings insecurities (afraid of losing Joe to Sol) as well the misunderstanding of his drunken nonsense. He bought the couple cups, the couple pillows etc. Joe thinks ming prevents him from going to the film because of Tong, but it is because of mings jealousy of Sol because he loves Joe. The book makes it even clearer because it clearly explains how ming felt relieved to finally let go, and just wanted to go home to Joe and their cosy life.

How do we justify Ming? for all intents and purposes he kidnapped Joe causing him , personal and professional harm leading to him being blacklisted in his industry? And then with new “Joe” his proposals are indecent ….. he may feel love privately but his attitude and words to Joe are awful ….. but I love this show !!! I am here for a Ming redemption arc

If u see...u will understand now that why the show name is standin ... it was the job of joe to be the stand in of tong...but then..in his personal life..in ming's life...he has to be the standin for tong....nd now in this life too..even after coming back after death..in new joe life... again he has to be the standin...this time for old Joe 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢 This show is all about...joe nd his being the stand in at different levels of his life ❤❤❤

Yes, Up is doing a fabulous job at portraying that obsessive and narcissistic character. Sure, one can feel sorry for Ming because he has realised too late what a gem Joe was. People often realise what they had only after losing it. I’m very curious how that story will develop. Joe is a very sweet and loving person, but I don’t think he’s overly bright. He’d rather suffer for the illusion of love than step back and stand up for himself.

I usually dislike this kind of stories. Esp. if the main lead is a red flag. I wanted to drop it on the very first episode. I don't why I'm still watching it. Haha Everytime I saw Joe with Ming. I remember this tagalog line from a filipino movie. "Palibhasa kasi alam na alam mo kung paano ako kunin. Isang ngiti, isang yakap, isang sorry. Wala umiikot na ulit yung mundo ko. Matalino akong tao pero pagdating sa 'yo, ewan ko, natatanga ako." Gosh. It's perfectly fit on Joe's character. It makes me sad.

I know Joe was really lonely when Ming came in his life and Joe fell deeply in love with him. Maybe thats why he still is walking towards Ming even after being betrayed by him.
