Glad you like it! I run Art As Catharsis and play guitar in Black Aleph. I love Luo and Voronoi. Our daf player Time has spent many years studying Persian music, and playing in a folk and classical Persian music ensemble. I also study Afghan folk and classical music on the rabab. Anyway, we're friends and decided to see what guitar + daf sounded like one day. It just sorted of clicked! So we started writing more music together, added our excellent cellist Peter, and here we are. I have another record label called Worlds Within Worlds that focuses on Eastern classical music btw.

But I now see Convoluted Mess Machine was released on your Art As Catharsis label. I was checking out your other record label, WWW, and Badieh last night, actually. Feel like I have just stumbled upon a gold mine. I am glad your experiment with Time is bearing fruits like this beauty! I love traditional folk music from all over the world but I also love all manner of fusions to even include electronic or contemporary music. I can see I will be spending a while getting to know the bands you present on both record labels... exciting times! Thanks again for taking the time to reply and clarify for me. Cheers!
