I love this so much! I am planning a birthday event for my Mom as well and I am doing most of the decorating and this is not my thing at all! This is the first time that I have ever done anything this big! So, I am a little nervous. But, you do some awesome work! And, these centerpieces are amazing! I was going to buy something much more expensive, but after seeing you diy work, I am going to do these instead! And thank you for the lessons learned. I thought that I might have been planning too far in advance and I started in May for the event this coming November. But, knowing that you started a year in advance for your mother, makes me feel a lot better. Much continued success to you!

Hi Lonielle thanks for another beautiful set up. I have a question about the steamer. I am considering ordering one even though I don't have many paid events. Usually volunteer designs for my church. But do you iron your backdrop curtains first and then steam any additional wrinkles at the event? And you still would need to iron tablecloths and chair covers right? I love your lessons learned. May God continue to bless you with your creative talent and sharing heart

Thank you! For tablecloths, I steam them in my dryer and then iron them. For draping, I just use my steamer. If I don’t have time to steam at the event, I’ll stream at home. If you have sheer curtains, I would recommend ironing those. For my chair covers, I only use spandex. So there’s no need to steam or iron.
