Hey prime vs prime Imagine if the 3d party company that made this figure also made their movie jetfire from ROTF and like the ss version of jetfire he can combine with optimus prime but thee combine mode is more movie accurate. The sad part is that the blackapple/wayjang version would come with some replacement peices and or parts inorder for the black apple/wayjang version of optimus compatible.

He should work with the MPP-10 Upscaled G1 style Trailer - Though I guess what you'd really want for him is a suitably sized UFO Trailer - that might look OK resting on him since that was designed for the Leader Class and this one isn't much different in size.

My dad really got me into transformers after the release of the 2007 film. Transformers were pretty much the only connection we had. Didn’t have the money for many transformers but I have the 2007 optimus and a few other cheap ones that may not look great but has immense sentimental value. Since my dad passed away, my love for transformers is one of the only things that helps me stay connected with him spiritually. I wish I could afford this because it’s a perfect representation of the 2007 Optimus. Really in the feels right now.

Indesputably the best transformable movie Optimus Prime ever created. Honestly, one of the best Optimus Primes created ever, period. Just so many things are done right with this figure. THIS is the true masterpiece movie Optimus Prime, the official isn't worthy of the title anymore. If you're even a casual Transformers fan, you owe it to yourself to pick this guy up. Personally, I bought two of these. One to fiddle with and display, and one to keep in the box, "just in case". This has honestly transcended from just being a mere collectible figure. This is truly a work of art, and engineering marvel that will go down in history as the greatest.

Kenny The Trend nah the quality of the Ko’s ain’t all that. Plus your discrediting the engineers of the official product because remember, they have to make the figures from scratch. Whereas the KO companies take 95% of what was already an amazing figure and make tweaks to make it better, which isn’t bad, but you can’t give them the type of credit this guy does in his video. Furthermore moving on to your point about the rotf leader i have both mpm 4 and leader prime they’re both great figures but I think it goes down to personal preference. You like the rotf leader and I respect that but I personally have to go with mpm 4. Better quality better attention to detail and although the transformation is complex if you know what you’re doing and you’re very specific in every step you shouldn’t come across any issues. But hey that was just my personal opinion haha :)

@@ZakTakesFlight The KO I'm talking about isn't just a cheap out version of the original. It's properly painted and fixed all the issues that the original had. I get it discredits the original engineers, but when the KO is released 6 months or more after the orignal release, then I think KO figures are fine. It's when they try to sell it when the official one still is on the market. Also, what do you think about the prime in this video? In my opinion, Weijang/Black Apple adds so much to their oversized KO's that shouldn't it be considered 4rth/3rd party at that point? Like 3.5th? I just think Black Apple's prime is the best. Especially the Truck mode. But what are your thoughts about it?

My only issue with this figure(and the same on the original MPM) is the fact that they couldn’t find a way to retract the hands on this guy. In movie 1 and ROTF, he retracted his hands and extended his energon blades. Once again, my only issue. I love integrated weapons. This guy looks phenomenal, indeed. I’m definitely picking this guy up for Christmas.

My favorite parts of the truck mode is the added parts to the grill and how the reflector things above the windshield are straight instead of angled. Also, the forearms and proportions of the robot mode is the real seller for me personally.

What an absolutely fantastic review and a true masterpiece of a figure. The word masterpiece has lost some of it's mojo since it's used to refer to the masterpiece line. But this truly is a masterpiece. I hope other companies recognize that this is the Ultimate Masterpiece Optimus Prime and make kits for it such as interchangeable battle damaged sections (head, panels with bullet holes, etc), wings, weapons, and a trailer

It's about damn time they made a movie-accurate back section for this design. ROTF got close and so did the MPM version but neither ever made the cut. Both still felt back-pack-ish. This though? My god that is magnificent. This is controversial, but I loved the designs of the movie Transformers, and I grew up with G1, but there's something ingenious and real world about the designs. I loved movie Optimus, and this is a spectacular recreation, I'm ordering this. I got the Hasbro ones.....they're being tucked away when I get my hands on this, this is definitive, a movie reference quality figure. Do Black Apple have any other Transformers in their range?

It seems as though Takara and Hasbro have given up competing with third-party companies. The level of detail these companies achieve at such a low cost makes it nearly impossible for Takara to keep up. However, it must be noted that in recent years, Takara has prioritized cost-cutting measures. This has led to compromised paint applications and figures filled with hollow gaps, ultimately resulting in a decline in overall quality. Although some argue that the engineering has significantly improved, I believe that good engineering alone cannot rectify issues like yellowing white plastic or fragile clear parts. One might argue that purchasing third-party products is unethical as it does not support Hasbro or Takara. While this may be true, it is essential for Takara and Hasbro to provide compelling reasons to choose their official products over alternatives.

That's why I generally don't compare these movie KO bots with all mainline bots, as it's like comparing apples with oranges. However, when it comes to SS and MP, these KOs blow them out of the water, especially for a lot less money, like this BA Prime. I don't understand why Hasbro/Takara are cheaping out massively on their MP and SS toy lines nowadays, especially when those are supposed to be the absolute best. I'd say mainline Commander and Titan classes have improved considerably in terms of quality, and are actually worth buying over MP and SS atm.

This is the definitive movie Optimus Prime, and nothing else will ever come close to it. I just wish its availability was as good as the quality of the product, because it honestly puts 99% of whatever movie toys Hasbro/Takara have ever made to shame. I'm not comparing this to animated toys, since those have a completely different type of engineering and would obviously be far less complex by design. As many have said this would definitely be a holy grail figure, but unfortunately obtaining one reliably and safely is far too much of a risk, especially in the UK.

I just got this yesterday.. somehow got really lucky that the shop has one last stock for me, really hard to find this figure now...now lets hope i can get through the transformation 😝

As immaculate as this is, I would never want it. It's just waaayy too complicated for my liking. I di think it's a shame though, that Main line figures in stores never have finger articulation or mask swap
