The editing here is MARVELOUS! The parts I especially loved include: - the lineup of 3:26, the slow-mo walking every time "He said I was bad, let me show you how bad girls do" came up in the chorus - the editing with "I'm not friends with my mother, but I still love my dad" part around 2:34 - how you lined up Tonya's falls with "Your interest really made stacks" around 4:25 because it gives that repetitive broken record effect - the piano fadeout with Tonya's breakdown at the trial overlapping the piano fadeout was so breathtaking and vulnerable that I almost teared up there - I love the loop back to the beginning of this video!!! Lastly, I'm glad you paired and "Black Bathing Suit" together because at first, I wondered how they would complement each other but with lyrics such as "I guess I'm complicated, my life sorta too," "They said I was bad and I'll show them what bad girls do," "Oh let 'em talk about me, they're just yesterday's news" and "So I'm not friends with my mother, but I still love my dad / Untraditional lover, can you handle that," it really caters to what Tonya's early life was like. She faced abuse from her mother and her 'untraditional lover' husband, the skating association and some of the public thought she didn't belong in the sport because she was too athletic, couldn't afford designer skating costumes, didn't use traditional classical music pieces for choreography, and didn't portray a graceful "wholesome American girl" attitude. Even though people would talk about her, she didn't give a damn and she showed what a bad girl could do!! Of course, "bad girl" applied to the Nancy Kerrigan scandal as well because Tonya would eventually become blacklisted from skating for America ever again.

wow i love the attention you payed to my video it means so much to me and i’m glad you noticed all the little details. at first when i chose to pair these two i thought it kinda wouldn’t mix but it did. I know lana is talking about her bathing suit and how she kinda grew out of it and changed during quarantine so i kinda wanted to make the message for tonya metaphorical as for her like “the only thing that still fits me is the black bathing suit” means that the only thing that she kinda loves and sticks with is her skating hope that makes sense! i tried to match the scenes as much as i could with the words and make it as best as i can but anyways thank you so so much!❤️
