I love how William Singe changes most songs to r&b. That’s what makes him so great. If you check out his other stuff with just him, even if it’s a pop or rap song, he changed the sound to R&b. Even r&b songs, he changes it in a different way. It’s so crazy.

I think this was live - if I'm not mistaken, they've got a table of equipment they programmed the loops for the tapped beats and guitar with on-the-fly... I don't think I even heard any autotune on the vocals. I think you will love Haken, they are chaotic yet technical, amazing musicianship, melodies and lyrics and like nothing you have heard. They are categorized as Progressive Metal, my favorite type of metal were musicianship and experimentation are king. The song that every fan of this band would like to see you react is "Cockroach King" a masterpiece no doubt, However I think it will be more along your alley their song called "Darkest Light" because it has amazing lyrics and it gives you a taste of their chaotic nature. Believe me they are unlike anything you have probably heard but there is a certain charm and of course, talent.

Now "Cockroach King" is a must, it is only that you need an introductory song to truly appreciate that song. If you are worried that it is extremely heavy or something like that, no it is not. In fact it might be very mild as heavy goes but it is unique and very creative. As I told you Progressive Metal usually it is a very technical genre and then you add to that a very experimentation heavy band and you get Haken.

Its hard to say if this is a pre recorded track though some things like them getting back from the mic's while singing and having no sound quality change would lead you to believe that it is, while some other things like the more cringey moments would lead you to believe its a live recording. As for him pumping out the beat it looked the way that would look live, the machines that are used for these things will live record a few beats that you punched in manually then be able to be switched on (or off) playing a loop of that beat etc so that looked legit.
