Nobody finds it suspicious that passing his hand over several spots while playing her wrist like a guitar results in the same cracks or "adjustments" you see in any other chiropractic video?

I see value in chiropractic adjustments. I see value in muscle testing. I see value in acupuncture. Where I have trouble is in the theory that the practitioner holding their arm out to their side and tapping their own knuckles against the patient's body in a specific sequence somehow "opens a door" for them to discover structural integrity issues in their patient. I'm sure, in your schooling, this took some convincing. I'm sure you wouldn't consider AK pseudoscience but how would you convince me as someone who appreciates the value of homeopathic treatments, that it isn't pseudoscience?

So weird to me that you like chiropractic, homeopathics and acupuncture but not kinesiology. What gives? What's your "science" explanation for acupuncture or homeopathics?
@cruise03 Жыл бұрын
@@SacredAmbulance Well for starters, in a comparison of acupuncture and Applied Kinesiology, acupuncture is 3,000 years old while Applied Kinesiology originated in the 1960's. Further, acupuncture relies on making invasive contact with meridian points to address issues. AK uses a mixture of choreographed motions made by the practitioner to first "enter the patient's energetic field" and then "turn muscles on and off". This produces a placebo or ideomotor effect where the patient changes their motions unconsciously to meet the practitioner's suggestions. Dozens of international health agencies, after performing studies on the efficacy of AK, found no tangible evidence of physical change in the patients and subsequently found it to be pseudoscience.

@@cruise03 yeah yeah, I get that AK is wack but tell me about the science behind homeopathics or whatever meridian point is
