Because there is hidden features that let betaflight go in full performance. For exemple, bf out of cli tuning is limited at 45% of the performance it can reach ( to make it safer as well) So it take time to test everything 😉

BF like Windows and Kiss/Ultra like IOS,........ I believe if you (or your friend ) can make some good tune, ( but the feel of the quad Fly,..??...mmmh)....... and if you just sale the stack with the Tune or you just share the tune,..... can have many problem for some pilot to build the quad with different Parts,..( frame, motor, prop etc ),...... maybe you must make RTF Quad and maybe some people will be like to try,.......😉.... Cause not easy to build/setup/setting with BF..... but again I believe some BF quad can fly very good ...😉....but for me I just wanna build some simple/easy for enjoy the fly with nice feel of the quad......Keep in Simple Stupid....LOL🤣😉..... This is all about cli tuning with this tune. We have just let bf go full performance and data. (Wich bf perf are limited by 45% ) So if you remove all the limiter, overclock the fc etc etc. You can have something close to kiss or falco on bf. What make the huge difference with them is that they have just better setting and all is full performance. So im now checking all the cli and shit to have the same result. Difference is that people will can have a high performance quad on a free firmware 🖤 And about the feeling, oh yeah you can do it. There is like 20 thing only on the pid page that change how your quad will react 😉
