Black Bull (Tarw Du) - Coed Y Brenin - Day 2

Coed Y Brenin Day 2 is upon us. The Beast on the first day was harder work than we thought. So rather than travel to another location we decided to head back but this time ride the Tarw Du - Black Bull trail.
A very fresh morning indeed. Not made any better by the amount of alcohol I had consumed the night before. We're a close bunch of mates all brought together by this amazing sport. Once that fire was lit and the BBQ food cooked (Cheers James) the night was only just starting, so it seems rude not to drink away LOL.
With Coed Y Brenin down the road from our campsite it seemed silly to miss out on the things that we didn't do.

Black Bull is a physical trail and it's got some fantastic sections of tech and speed. Not on the same level as "The Beast" but when you get to the summit of the slab drops the view is breath taking. We stayed there for some time taking it all in before having a session together on those slabs.
They look easy on the edit, but when you're at the top in reality it's so much bigger. The grip is unreal though so give it a go.
To see out a final group ride at Coed Y Brenin with the lads was nothing short of outstanding. Lockdown is here again now so we squeezed it in just in time.

Nice one, enjoyed that. Rode there a couple of years ago, the climbs were a proper challenge. Great trail though, guess I need to get back up there after seeing your trip pal, keep it up

I just bought a set of rimpact ones 40 quid including valves. Haven't fitted yet, so hopefully these will reduce pinch flats etc.
