When you say "hit you where it hurts" do you mean sympathy for the circus troupe? Not trying to Amur just sharing a different viewpoint. I understand what the manga's creator and anime crew were trying to do, and yes I can understand there being sympathy for them but honestly after watching this whole saga/season, I just feel nothing but anger (possibly physical violence anger). And for what I think is a good reason*. POSSIBLE SPOILERS-----> The circus troupe were doing all this both out of sense of loyalty and to protect the workhouse they came from from getting shut down and sending the other kids there into the streets. But for all the time they were doing this, did they never bother to contact the place? The big reveal that the place had been shut down for years and had even been collapsed to rubble means that they made no attempt to check on the place. So honestly when they died in the show/manga, I felt no sympathy for them *my reason for not feeling any sympathy for them (if at all). My whole life my family has complimented me by saying that "You're so smart, etc". But when it comes to life I consider myself average, maybe even slightly below. But that being said. The way I look at the world; if I (the idiot), can figure it out (solve a problem, see a mistake, etc.), and others can't then what does that say about their intelligence.

@@Jpew2007 Yeah, I felt ZERO sympathy for the circus troupe. Joker was upset when he found out his prosthetic hand was made out of their bones, but he was totally okay with them being lobotomized by the doctor and used like disposable toys and even being killed by the Baron. Like, what the F.

Dang... those must be some drugs in those petals...anyways as to explain this...Think of it as cartoonistic violence in the eyes of a child. Like tom and Jerry or the Looney tunes. It's just funny and innocent to them. Also if you look closely enough "dagger's" knives dont actually harm them in her eyes. He starts out juggling candy colored knives but then if you look closely when they impact they appear to be hacky sack balls of some sort like what you'd expect at a carnival. "Beast" never really hurt them in her eyes they just spun them like, the before mentioned cartoon funny but. The only thing that could really be considered hurt borderline I feel like would be "Jumbo" and the hammer. But like I said Cartoonistic. And I'm pretty sure she did see it as a game. Like hit the piñata and get a confetti show.

0:50 Joker popped out a flower and we can see several sparkles or (dust) which might be some type of medicine mixed in air and she smelled it to hypnotize her and after that she started seeing the Fake scenarios. Idk what is it just anime logic

High IQ take here. Little kids getting stolen away is messed up. It’s tragic but the circus got what they deserved in the end. I’m only okay with Snake being spared because he wasn’t involved in the kidnappings and didn’t know about it; it’s unfortunate but nothing justifies ferrying little kids to their deaths.

especially because he was worried about her safety and bought the flowers so she could help her poor mother... then he gets killed and she gets lobotomized by a freak noble.... Circus was way more open with how dark the late 19th century Kuroshitsuji world is
