Completely different style of music, but Eric's expressive playing reminds me a little of Neal Casal's. (I'm a huge fan of both.). Maybe it's the beards, but they almost look like long-lost brothers. ✌️

Hi Robert, Thanks for chiming in. ”Theatrical gestures" implies one or both of us perhaps is physically feeling the music in the moment in a way that is intentional, for some reason. Just want to say that it is not the case. I’m frankly embarrassed by the way I look in videos most of the time. I hate that about the medium, but that's the deal these days. I’ve actually worked at not moving as much and/or scat singing along with single notes runs.. But some of that is just necessarily to get and stay in the zone where I think I’m delivering my better work. I know Tim feels the same way. Anyway, thanks for checking it out, and the compliments, and just rest assured it’s not theater in anyway. It just is what it is. Best,e
