I grew up in SF (Bernal Heights). I'm 50+ now and was in this. Everything in this interview hits home for me. Fillmore (McCallister), Sunnydale, Alemany black hole, HP Baby, Double Rock, Valencia Gardens, Geneva Towers, Army Street, Addison D.H. Most are gone today, but I grew up with people from all these spots. Diversity was life then, not a meme.

All different types of genre's of music have like the certain trade mark songs that are popular pertaining to each genre. With hip hop nothings as classic as the homie or the block track lol almost every artist or group has one some call it the shout out track but that ish never gets old man just like how every corny 80s metal band will have a terrible chick ballad the equivalent in hip hop is the shout out track hahaha.... if someone made a long ass play list of everyone ever made its pretty likely that play list Nation wide would have folks hollering from coast to coast hahaha... and just saying bay area graffiti is Hella influential all over.. I'm from Cleveland and used to go to San Fran for the whole month of December and stay with my home girl and I know I personally used that as my secret weapon to freshen up my paint swag every year and yall deff have a distinct flavor when compared to Cali s southern city's....
