at first i was weary of this song, i mean i absolutely LOVE Fall Out Boy, like totally, and i could never imagine Pete working on music without Patrick & co. but this snippet TOTALLY took me by surprise, i think it's amazing and i wish Black Cards all the best. but i guess Fall Out Boy will always be number one in my heart.

Just to clear this up... Fall out boy is still together, they are just taking breaks for family and other projects. If you are upset because this doesn't sound like fall out boy, did you stop to think that it isn't meant to sound like fall out boy? He's doing a new project for the time being. NOT REPLACING FALL OUT BOY. I'm sure he's fully aware that the fan base of fall out boy will not carry over to black cards. so stop whining and saying you miss fall out boy. this is good music.

So many people claim to be "true FOB fans" and then they won't shut up about, "I can't believe Patrick's changed so much!" or "This new music sucks, bring back FOB!" or, my favorite, "This music doesn't sound anything like FOB." Honestly. People seem to think that when they will be exactly the same. :/

i find myself comparing this with fall out boy.
