You gotta think of it like what song do you want to hear at the end of this show. A sad show? Maybe something more mellow to hit you in the feels as you just process what happened, or something a tad more uplifting to keep you hopeful. Most people want openings to be more upbeat, and slow openings are usually looked down on (they shouldn't be of course), but for endings, the spectrum of moods, and tones tends to be wider (there are plenty of hype EDs). So, yall really gotta appreciate different type of sounds that endings tend to offer.
