It's been hinted quite a few times by Sukuna that Yuji was very similar to a certain person back from Hien Era that Sukuna once faced so you could Show Asta as the one who faced Sukuna in Hien and Yuji as the reincarnation 😐 Asta would neg Sukuna if they ever fought is a different fact so don't go after that 😂

It means that he has mastered all type of martial arts etc. 2)he travelled the lands searching for a worthy battle until he discovered the gates of shadows, It means that he was getting bored fighting with weaklings and so he decided to travell the lands and searching someone stronger to face, until he discovered a portal called the gates of shadows. 3)he broken the laws of the elders and opened the gates, and the demons of the other world were beyond him they rushed upon him, tearing his flesh, Dreaning his soul, turning him into a SHADOW. 4)and now for Eternity he was doomed to do wander the world and fight the demons that he has freed. The eternals feared Shadow because he opened the gates of shadows giving him a lot of power, When Shadow defeated Tenebris, he entered in the portal of void, absorbing the Void energy making Shadow more stronger than before.

Shadow defeated his own creator Architect who has high boundless level and his ability are: Time manipulation, changing fate (like Fatum), legendary weapons, stamina, damage absorb, fighting an enemy with his own rules, etcetera. Architect can easily solos the anime characters 😎.
