Well i can imagine Rimuru being evil since he is a monster himself. He is quite ruthless and cold at times and to be honest i like it when he gets cold. Not to mention that some say that Manga Rimuru is more ruthless than the anime itself so I don't know if that's true or not, but if it's true.. i wish they made him that way in the anime too. Veldanava is a god of creation, hence why he sealed Ivarage instead of killing them. Supreme deity Rimuru can rival him in power but has both creation and destruction. And Anos, at his strongest (he only has 10% in the anime and you can see what he's capable of), has an ability called "Seven steps of nirvana" where he can take seven steps and shake the silver sea (the name of the multiverse in his canon) until it's destroyed completely. And posesses a sword that can ignore logic and physics, and destroy concepts which would technically mean he could, in theory, perma-kill a true dragon.
