Just the fact that these kids are into Steely Dan says so much about their understanding of music that I am speechless. Ask a younger person if they like SD and they look at you like your going to tell a Dad Joke. What’s a Steely Dan? These kids hit every nuance of this song. The horns are perfectly arranged. It sounds like Steely Dan with some fresh vocalists. Fantastic!

Here here! On point. Loved the smooth backing vocals, and the lead vocalist even had that Fagan NY twist on the lingo. When the dude on the keyboard gave his solo away to the horn section, I about fell out of the recliner. It was clear that each member put their heart and soul into it, so I gave it a save to the old playlist.

no the touring steely dan band did it for 20 years from 2004 to paat Walters passing--where you bin? They couldnt afford to hire and tour with their soloing recording session artists back in the eighties but in the 90s they started hiribg the best jazz musicians out of NYC and did it.
