You may like them even more with normal bindings. Marker demos have negative delta. Also this is not the snow they shine on, it needs to be softer. The snow in this vid is best tackled on FIS SL skis.

@tonyg3091… I could do nothing about the snow! I hope you enjoyed the review. I tried to let the actual skiing do most of the talking 😊

@TheTriggerjop…. The Mirus Cor is a wonderful piste ski. I didn’t get a chance to ski off piste in a few centimeters of powder. Keep in mind about the speed issue. Good luck and demo the “Octo” if you get a chance ⛷

Hi Alain, thx for the vid, do you think this ski have enough edge grip to ski some hard/early on piste snow? I will like if its too far from a dedicated 80mm more powerful heavy slalom ski. Simce i dont have any on piste ski, I will like cirrus if i could use it for carving with some flexibility to use it off piste when its some fresh powder. I usually use Black Crows Camox touring version.. Thanks

@gabrielmarias972… The Mirus Cor does have good edge grip… don’t expect it to be like a true race slalom ski. The responsiveness of the Mirus Cor was quite something I have to say. May I consult you to wait for the NEW “Octo” which is coming out next season. “Rickety Ski Reviews” absolutely raved about how the “Octo” addresses what the Mirus Cor lacked… especially in the stability area. Remember… I did mention how there was quite a bit of chatter when the ski was going fast. The Mirus Cor has a speed limit, the Octo (according to Rickety Ski Reviews) embraces it. All that being said if you get the Mirus Cor you will love it from turn one 😊⛷

@@alainbrouillaud484 thanks, i also put my radar on the octo, just not sure of also its kind of fun, and also not sure if in the days its a bit of fresh snow off piste, octo can be ok I will like something like a good slalom ski to carv the groomers in most of the snow conditions with kind of polivalency to be easy driver and handle right some fresh snow off piste. Since my background its with freetouring skis i dont like too heavy super stiff skies. Thanks again

what size did you ski on ?
@alainbrouillaud4847 ай бұрын
@michaelchetner4360… 178cm. The Mirus Cor is fantastic on the piste… a great turning ski which holds well on hard icy snow. Black Crows is launching a new ski next year called the “Octo”. The Octo (according to Rickety Ski Reviews) handles speed better with a 14m turning radius… think of it as Mirus Cor plus. The Mirus Cor is very responsive, turn initiation couldn’t be easier the only drawback is that the Mirus Cor does have a speed limit on it. The genius of this ski is that you could enjoy regular pistes creating sharp carves and sensations… you’ll feel like you’re skiing better than ever 😊⛷

How about showing the skis, how they bend, flex, how they behave in turns ? Your personal view with a GoPro is irrelevant. You're an "expert" on skis, show the skis when you use them with a normal perspective.

Thank you for your comments… I don’t think you watched the whole video. Yes… I didn’t talk a whole lot, I wanted the skiing to speak for itself. I am not an “expert”. I am someone who has skied a lot. You didn’t comment about how I used the “Third Person Backpack” with the Insta360 One X2, there you see the skis in action skiing down “Hörnli”. I also used the new ski pole mount showing the skis from the front. Obviously you didn’t listen to my comments when I was sitting on the chairlift with my initial impressions. One more thing… if you can’t tell (especially with my silhouette) how I go across the slope then you cannot appreciate the reaction of the ski. Let’s say I had the camera just focused on the skis and nothing else… you wouldn’t get the visual feeling of how responsive the ski actually is. You make good points… before you write next time watch the whole video. I tried not to just give you a review of the skis. I also wanted to show the beauty of Zermatt… the great moments from the whole day of skiing.
