Tie the cord and extension in a square knot with the connection in the knot.

You know if you tie the cords together before plugging in, then won't come unplugged every 30 seconds. Just a pro tip. "That third part" in the plug is called the grounding. Not all plugs require grounding.

We already know it sucks on setting 1. It's impossible to gauge any differences between 1 and 2 when you speed up the video.

No need for the ground ( third plug fitting ) with a plastic device.

How to use as vacuum only? Mine vacuums and mulches. Can I disconnect the mulcher?

I don't believe there is a way from what I've seen. It's packed up now so I can give it a quick once over to verify though. **SK**

I want a leaf vacuum for my yard.... But, This B&D is a pieced of "@&%^" the motor quits working after an hour or two of use... I returned it, thanks to Amazon's very liberal return policy, and ordered another.... Same thing occurred . . . . What a disappointment.
