I was not entirely fond of its function regarding the start "switch" and the fact that the cup had a plastic smell longer than it should have. Having said that, this unit is 650 watts, which is very low power consumption in comparison to other coffee makers. So if you need something that makes coffee/tea/hot water, this could still work.

I consider this a stupid, virtually worthless review.. He doesn't even brew coffee, and "safety" complaint is that idiots can lift lid while it is in process of brewing and possibly be sprayed with hot water
