Thank you for this guide, always excellent content ! I would suggest keeping blue fish for trading to imperial fish npc. Blues will give you a chance at getting an artifact or imperfect lightstone of Flora. Yellows never gave me those. As soon as i got the fish tank and decided to keep blues, i started getting artis and imperfect lighstones from imperial fish npc.

Great video as always! Something I like to do after overnight fishing is to transport my character across the map. I've just been lazily fishing between Grana and Velia myself, but the overnight income started beating my imperial cooking with the distance bonus on prize catches!

Where to fish and where to sell ?

@@dexlorenz It's far from the best or most efficient means, but I often fish overnight in Grana or Altinova, at the spots that spawn Plump Coelacanth (you generally see a bunch of people fishing in these hot spots). When I get up/come home from work, I'll transport my fisher to the other side of the continent (so Grana to Altinova, or vice-versa). Grana's imperial fish trader is Falleve, right next to Vipiko, the storage keeper. Prize fish and excess can be sold down the hill to Okiara. In Altinova, the imperial trader is Hirio, who is a bit out of the way near Splashing Point. The normal trader is Quina right next to the stables. You can find the specific NPCs by searching "trade" and/or "imperial fish," but the main thing is to transport your fisher some distance before selling your fish off. Some cities are less contested than others, and of course you can min-max by looking into the loot tables for different safe zones as Levi showed in this video. :)

afk fishing requires that your able to withstand the Electric Bill increase of leaving your PC on. I afk'd at night for like 6 - 9 months and ended up with a 500$ electric bill

if you send the game to the tray it doesn't consume anything more than what the pc consumes on idle, since it's capped at 1 fps if i remember correctly and if your pc consumes too much on idle, you can enable power saver in "choose a power plan"

Always send BDO to system tray! Minimizing it every time you step away from the PC is huge. Don't forget to turn off your monitors manually! A black screen is not the same as a turned off monitor.

Another tip, buy a bunch of “balacs lunchbox” and set it up with the auto use function so it goes all night. It is very cheap and reduces afk fishing time

Now is a great time to do AFK fishing with the ongoing fishing event. You get to reel in those Gizzard fishes worth 3mil and 30mil each. I might want to add the TRI: Manos Fisher's clothes which gives you +220 fishing mastery and Fishing +2 as well.

I'm guru 27 and tested a bunch of spots (about 1.5 years ago), but none beat Velia's beach so far (including ross's ocean). I make about 200-300 million per night there by going to valencia and selling the fish to the merchant there (after selling part of them to imperial delivery in there)... Although the drop table in Altinova is similar, it seems the chance of Velia dropping orange fish is higher... Haven't tested Eilton yet though, is there any info on what fish drops there? Also if my tests are outdated, I'd appreciate any tips. Should I try altinova again?

What I would personally do is either pick the Crio's Sturdy Fishing Chair (+100 mastery, -5% fishing time) instead of the float. You can get this by trading in 5 byproducts -> Discarded Glass Bottle

Does anyone else have an issue where the character stops fishing after a while? The first time i tried they fished until my inventory was full. But now everytime i come back the inventory isnt full and i just see my character stopped fishing. Is it wifi problem. Would appreciate any advice 😅

It's not really absolutely necessary to have a +10 Balenos Fishing Rod or that expensive lightstone set, especially for an AFK activity that does not generate a huge amount of money anyway. If you are a super dedicated AFK fisher (which is an ironic statement in itself :D) then yes, maybe, but otherwise...nah, you are fine with less gear as well.
