If you are a lifeskiller, in specific gatherer, I would actually recommend the marketplace butler, because the amount of units you can transfer to your marketplace is way higher than what you can transfer to your storage (I think the limit on storage is e.g. 200 for logs at once).

2024, new player, thank you for this video. i originally thought you needed a house to have a maid/butler. numerous times i'm fighting mobs and ended up moving so slow because of weight and walking slow to a nearby town. now i know i can have a storage maid/butler :)

As a new player i put everything in market place storage i only use regular storage for things that wont go in the marketplace Only cause you can access marketplace storage in any city

The storage system in BDO is the thing I like the least so far about my return. IT's so frustrating trying to keep track of where stuff is. Just not fun mechanic.

Is there any way to interchange the maid from marketplace to storage? I was just gliding through the questline not really paying attention to what I recieved and I only have one storage maid and 5 market maids and well, I ususally grind so they are useless to me.

They spawn randomly, but you can look around King's Forest west of Heidel, there I see spawns sometimes. But the easier way would be to just gather and grind mobs to get the petals to trade them in for a fairy.

if you're farming for laia petals, i reccommend semi-afk fishing. i had no luck at all with herbs, and grinding :P i got about a laia petal in about an hour of semi-afk fishing?

Mistakes were made lol. Oh well, I guess it isn't that bad. Should have gone for more storage ones lol. Not that I think I will need more. I bought the packs on sale(of 6 each with some dicounts I had) aswell as the begginer maid pack one for 3 more + I got 2 free ones(I think) and one from the paid pack outside the gsme so... that's 14 storage and 10 transaction... lol

Nah CM maids/butlers are better. Because when you place items that can be registred in the markerplcace in your CM storage you can usually transfer higher stack cuz the weight of the items sometimes gets lower there. For example you can transfer 200 logs to your storage with 1 maid/butler but with a CM maid/butler you can store 1000 logs in the CM storage 😁

You get some via quests You can check some of them by pressing "O" and then going to the "Suggested" tab

@Will Mado try to snipe some pets via the market place. I am also fairly new ( roughly 2 weeks playtime ) and I got 5 tier 3 pets, just bought a lot of desert fox pets a couple of days ago. Just look out for pet sales. I just noticed that the free boxes you get via the Amazing Free Attendance Event can give you a desert fox pet, thats why I pre ordered a bunch of them and I got lucky.

The game gives you free maids and butlers though, recently it was during the 2022 Halloween event
