Tip: if you're a new player and need/want to grind as much as possible: consider not joining a guild. It may be the reason you get thrown out of grind spots way more often than you would. If you don't really mind dying, you can play a game of chicken with any big geared player who wants your spot, by letting them kill you over and over until their karma is below zero and they HAVE to leave (which in return grants you the spot). This cannot be done if youre in a guild as they'll simply declare war on it and will be able to freely kill you low-gear butt. ❤️

At the end there where you say your guild determines how fun the game is, I completely agree. Sure I have fun lifeskilling (I'm not a combat person), but in my first guild, people were snarky and barely talked and I felt lonely and started losing motivation and interest in the game; I had only joined that guild because my sister was in it and she wanted me to join it. But one day I made a tough decision to leave the guild and find a purely life skilling one. That's when I found LazyGeeks (big life skilling guild on Serendia 2) and I loooove this guild so much. People are friendly, active, and very helpful and I've learned so much from them since I joined it. Love your videos! You, imPansy, and AgentRuss have basically been my tutors for this game. I've learned so much from your videos! There is so much depth to this game that it's impossible to learn everything on your own! :)

Perfect advice how to trade your real life and switch it with BDO slavery. I was in a sieging big guild for 1 and a half year it was fun but it affected too much of personal life. 3rd year playing on my own and it's as fun as playing in a guild if you aren't some social alien. Everything has pros and cons. Some nice buffs to life skills sometimes aren't worth the hassle.

Could you explain contracts? I don’t get what it means, why we have to renew them, what the terms even are, or if it’s just given the name “contract” for rp reasons. I just don’t understand why contracts expire if you haven’t left the guild. Can I join more than one guild? Like if my contract expires with guild A, can I sign a contract with Guild B and still remain in guild A? Also there’s a guild vendor and it sells Finto juices among other things but I can’t buy them, it wants to withdraw from my “allowance”. How do I get money in there so I can buy from that vendor? How do I activate guild buffs or only officers can do it? Is it better to remain guileless so no one can declare war on you? I have so many questions

Hello Evil, I would like your opinion on this. I am fairly new and I been watching a lot about classes. I am currently interested in Striker/Mystic, Wizard/Witch, Lahn and Guardian. Mainly cause they are the easier classes. I want to get into PvP in the late game, mainly 1v1s. Do you think its smarter to begin with Wizard/Witch all the way until I can safely fund a class that can do the 1v1s without having the pain to grind with them? Thank you!

There is an upcoming project right now and it is Soulbound, it aims to collate players and build a player profile that will grant you plenty of access with guilds with no waiting and receive rewards accordingly. Soulbound will remove these hardships from all players.

I've refused a lot of invitations, mainly because no recruiter has ever actually asked if I would like to join prior to sending the invite...

@@The_Azure_ Well the invitation has explicit text asking you to join. You would like a pre-invite of the invite ? But granted you have a subjective reason to refuse invites. Most of the players refuse because they have no idea what it implies, many even believe they have to pay something. On top of that guild officers invite manually because the guild application process is broken, and their only means of recruitment is with manual invitations. That means a lot of invitations during your gameplay. So if you expect a 20 minutes chat for a guild invite, it is not going to happen ....

@@gathursteem I'm not asking for a 20 minute conversation on the benefits of joining someone's guild, though that would certainly win some brownie points from me. I understand that I'm an older styled MMO player who enjoys actually conversing with people, but the bare minimum I expect is a single question asked of me on if I would be interested in joining a guild *_without_* the spam pop-up that covers 70% of my screen. When the hell did the MMORPG scene deviate so much from socializing that guilds would rather send out invites en masse rather than actually try and have a personal connection with their players?

I'm sick of BDO guild system. I gotta renew contract every half an hour to get the damn buff. Is anoying. Other than pvp vs guild, I don't see any use specially when you can't trade anything. P Abyss should improve the damn thing.

If both of you are very active and can grind out the guild quests daily and have fun doing it...go for it. Otherwise, you will be better off finding an established guild that fits both of you.

It takes 3 or 5 guild members online to be able to take guild missions, so just 2 people wont be able to do it. You can still get some points for guild skills from levelling alts though.
